Positive: location and breakfast and afternoon cake and tea.

Negative: value for money is poor. staff are friendly but just do their job. They have little interest in maintaining a high standard. For example, room cleaning did a superficial job but did not change the sheets (just made the bed) even though our sheets were clearly stained and dirty. Also the heater didn't work in our room. It took 2 days for someone to "repair" it but the heater remained non- functional for the duration of our stay. For us it was really annoying as we wanted to dry our gloves/ scarves from the skiing day, but the staff just smiled and didn't seem to really care. If they offered good service, they could offer a slight reduction in the room price or even just a free drink at the bar, but they did neither. Just smiled.... Doubt i'll be back here again. Value for money is low.

Summary: its a shame the staff are just foreign cheap labour and not people really invested in maintaining a high standard

Positive: Good location on the high street, very friendly staff with great breakfast options and afternoon tea, we also used the Hacienda restaurant at the hotel which was exceptional. We all thought the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Negative: My only small gripe was a lack of hanging hooks in our room We were three skiers but there was only three hooks to hang our ski clothes on.
